AI Charter

How Ishara uses artificial intelligence — and what that means for you

Our Principles

Transparency over confidence When data is limited or a signal is ambiguous, we say so. Ishara will never present uncertain analysis as fact.
Investigation, not instruction We surface what to look into, not what to do. Every insight is framed as a prompt for your own investigation — never as a directive.
Your data stays yours Your business profile shapes your briefings, but your personal information is never sent to AI models. Only your sector, business type, and operating region are used as context.
Human accountability AI generates the analysis; humans built the system and are accountable for its behaviour. Every pipeline run is logged and auditable.

How AI Is Used in Ishara

Signal classification. When keyword-based rules can't confidently categorise a signal, an LLM assists in classifying it to the right business system and sector.

Interpretation and analysis. Once signals are collected and classified, an LLM (Anthropic's Claude) generates the daily briefing — including system assessments, pathway analysis, investigation prompts, and suggested actions.

Contextual enrichment. Perplexity's Sonar model provides additional context for each sub-sector query, which is then factored into the main analysis.

Language Standards

Ishara's AI output follows strict language rules designed to prevent alarm or overconfidence:

Feedback Loop

Your reactions and calibration inputs directly improve future briefings. When you mark a signal as irrelevant or confirm an insight was useful, that feedback shapes how Ishara prioritises information for your business type.
