1. What We Collect
When you create an Ishara account, we collect:
- Email address — used for authentication and delivering your briefings.
- Name — used to personalise your dashboard and emails.
- Business profile — sector, business type, operating countries, company size, and operational concerns you provide during onboarding. Used to tailor your intelligence briefings.
- Feedback signals — reactions, calibration inputs, and pulse responses you submit through the dashboard.
2. What We Don't Collect
- We do not collect passwords (authentication is passwordless via OTP).
- We do not track your browsing activity outside of Ishara.
- We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing.
- We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking.
3. How We Use Your Data
- Personalisation — your business profile determines which signals are relevant to you and how briefings are structured.
- Service delivery — your email address is used to send daily briefings and onboarding emails.
- Product improvement — aggregated, anonymised feedback helps us improve signal quality and analysis accuracy.
4. AI Processing
Your business profile (sector, type, country) is included as context when generating AI briefings so the analysis is relevant to your specific situation. Your personal data (name, email) is not sent to AI models.

5. Data Storage
- User data is stored in Supabase (hosted infrastructure with row-level security).
- Email delivery is handled via Resend.
- All data is transmitted over HTTPS.
- We do not store data in regions outside of our hosting providers' standard infrastructure.
6. Data Retention
- Your account data is retained for as long as your account is active.
- Briefing history is retained to provide you with historical context.
- If you request account deletion, all personal data will be removed within 30 days.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your account and associated data.
- Unsubscribe from email briefings at any time.
8. Third-Party Services
Ishara uses the following third-party services to operate:
- Supabase — authentication and database.
- Vercel — web hosting.
- Resend — email delivery.
- Anthropic (Claude) — AI analysis generation.
Each service has its own privacy policy. We only share the minimum data required for each service to function.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
